It is YOUR responsibility to ensure that you have the prerequisites for any unit in which you enrol. Where prerequisites have not been satisfied the School may withdraw students from units.

Please note: Students must ensure they select units applicable to their course location, ie; on-campus (DAY), off-campus (DE),
Singapore TMC - (OS-SGP), Hong Kong (SPACE) - HKU SPACE (OS-HKG), Hong Kong (CIDP) - (OS-HKG-CID).

STUDENTS WHO TRANSFERRED TO THE BACHELOR OF INFORMATION TECHNOLOGY
FROM THE BACHELOR OF COMPUTING

It has been noted that some students who transferred from the Bachelor of Computing into the Bachelor of Information Technology and received credit for GCO1811 Object Oriented Programming 1 for having completed GCO1810 Business Programming, have found the content of GCO1812 Object Oriented Programming 2 difficult.

The School has decided to give students who haven't already attempted but need to do GCO1812 the option to replace their credit towards GCO1811 to an elective instead. They then need to undertake the unit GCO1811, which will prepare them for GCO1812.
